The project includes premium red packets, regular and luxury gift boxes, greeting cards, and a full set of animated stickers for WeChat, WhatsApp and Line.

For Cartier’s 2026 Chinese New Year collection, DASH created a luxurious and culturally resonant festive suite that perfectly blends the brand’s global creative direction with authentic Chinese elements. Challenge.

Cartier wanted to create a standout 2026 Chinese New Year collection that would uphold its global luxury positioning while delivering a meaningful and culturally resonant experience for the Chinese market. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate the iconic little Cartier Panthère with traditional Chinese New Year elements across both physical gifting products and digital platforms, ensuring the entire collection felt premium, festive, and cohesive.

Creative Design &Development.

Following Cartier‘s global creative direction featuring lanterns and the charming little Cartier Panthère, we added rich Chinese touches — traditional red lanterns, auspicious motifs, classical pavilions, bridges, and architectural details — to create an elegant fusion of French luxury and Chinese cultural warmth.

The collection includes two versions of premium red packets (hong bao), regular and luxury gift boxes, and a matching greeting card. All pieces feature exquisite gold foil stamping and embossing that beautifully highlights the playful yet refined little Cartier Panthère.

For the digital experience, we designed a complete series of custom emotion icons and stickers for WeChat, WhatsApp, and Line. The little Cartier Panthère was illustrated in a charming, rounded, and highly expressive vector style — cute, delightful, and full of personality while staying true to Cartier’s sophisticated aesthetic. These illustrations were then animated to pair perfectly with popular Chinese New Year greetings and festive messages.
